Once You Get To Secondary School Everythings Different.
Your Supposedly "Best Friend" Turns Their Back On You. Your Boyfriend Plays You,
Your Homework Never Gets Done. Detention Becomes Suspension.
Lipgloss Becomes Foundation. Lemonade Becomes Vodka. Sweets Become Drugs.
Love Becomes Heartbreak.
Lets Face It, We Are All Just Growing Up. But I Still Remember Being Little + Cute, I Miss Thosee Good Old Days.
When Swear Words Were Bad.
Falling Out Lasted 5 Minutes.
When The Only Things Boys Played Was Kiss Chase.
When Teachers Were Your Friends + You Only Cried When You Fell Over.
When Wearing Short Skirts Didnt Make You A Slut.
When The Only Man You Loved Was Your Da.
Thinking back on how much has changed in the space of 5 years can be scary.
Imagining how different my life will be in another 5 years can be terrifying.
So right now, I'm just gonna think about the present and focus on right now, my Teenage Life.

WHAT IS TEENAGE LOVE?

it's staying up late all night & barely staying awake in class the next day.It's passing each other in the hall & stopping to say Hi, but ending up running to your next class right before the bell rings. It's going to the mall and walking around hand in hand with a silence that is comfortable. It's watching a movie in the cinema, with his arm slowly creeping onto your shoulders and your head resting in his arms. It's walking around at night, for no reason at all; his chest, her head, looking at the stars. It's uncertainty of how long it will last, a risk you are both willing to take, even if it means you'll have a broken heart. It's not yet true love, nor like, nor lust, nor infatuation. It's teenage love, here to stay, here to play with our hearts & never go away.

You Know That Feeling


when you look at him and think 'wow i love him, but we're just friends.' or maybe when he looks at her, it hurt so much. when you're in love with him but he's in love with her. you love everything about him, but he loves everything about her. you wasted all your 11:11 wishes on him, you've kept it in for so long. no one knows how confused you are.
do you tell him how much you like him?
or do you keep it in, as usual?

it's confusing,.,

or 'it's complicated' is your answer when someone asks you whats wrong. when you look at them together your eyes fill up with tears because you love him, you love him so much. and sometimes you just wish...

Sometimes....

you just feel everything and nothing all at once.
Sometimes you'll find yourself smiling while missing something at the same time.
At times you can absolutely love a person, all the while wanting to hate them.
Life comes with no guarantees, except that smiling will brighten your face,
Laughing will enhance your eyes,
And falling in love will change your life.
